Sun 17 Mar 2019 - Theatre

True Arrow presents: Dr Stephen R.C Hicks
Adventures in Postmodernism Tour – March 2019
Professor Stephen Hicks will speak on:
What makes postmodernism attractive?
How is it dangerous?
Since its first generation in Foucault and Derrida, how has it evolved and mutated?
Does postmodernism have strong connections to neo-Marxism?
What is its role in the culture wars, campus battles over free speech, political correctness, intellectual diversity, identity politics and the rise of Antifa and Alt-Right?
What other political movements are now adopting postmodern strategies?
How do we resolve the issues of postmodernism and advance genuine civilization?
