TAME IMPALA

Sat 25 Apr 2020 - Arena

This April, legendary psych-rock phenomenon TAME IMPALA embark on their biggest ever tour of Australia.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, Tame Impala have established themselves as one of the most astounding live acts around. A meditative, light-infused party of psychedelic euphoria, their live experience is world renowned - last year impressing at prestigious headlining slots such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera, and Splendour in the Grass.

“the mind-melting live experience that's made them one of Australia's most treasured and in-demand music exports” – triple j

“The panoramic sound, trippy light shows, and confetti cannons of Tame Impala’s live shows are the stuff of stoner legend.” - Pitchfork

In April, Tame Impala will deliver songs from their anticipated new album The Slow Rush, released February 14, to all ages crowds, along with fan favourites ‘The Less I Know The Better’, ‘Feels Like We Only Go Backwards’ and more!

Joining Tame Impala on all dates are Texan genre-defiers, KHRUANGBIN. In Australia last year playing their debut sold out headline tour, the sunny instrumental three-piece will warm audiences with their mind-expanding live show, showcasing songs from 2019’s Hasta El Cielo, along with ‘Texas Sun’, a recent collaboration with fellow Texan, Leon Bridges.

In response to the bushfires currently ravaging Australia, Kevin Parker has announced that a donation from Tame Impala’s 2020 tour will be made to bushfire relief efforts, saying --

“I’ve been hanging out to tour Australia for a long time now so I’m super excited to be able to finally be able to announce. In the past few weeks I’ve been devastated to see what’s been happening with the fires at home and we want to do our bit to help, so we’re going to be donating $AUD300,000 to bushfire relief charities.

Sure to be one of the most exciting tours of the year, experience Tame Impala’s triumphant return across Australia this April!
